Whilst we’re all still in party mode ushering in the New
Year, now’s the ideal time to keep up the celebrations and make 2013 your year
to learn how to relax, appreciate and truly enjoy your personal relationships.
And that’s the very essence of the Three of Cups.
When this card appears it
represents a time of happiness, joy and celebration of the coming together of a
couple or union with another. Just like all the Three’s in the Tarot, it
heralds an initial stage of completion of the journey (in this case in the area
of love and relationships) The couple has come this far, indicating that there
is yet more to be experienced within the relationship. Some of which will be
pleasant and some perhaps not so pleasant, as the lessons are endured.
But we
needn’t worry about that now. And that’s the trick to tweak. Many of us focus too much on where the
relationship is heading or will end up, rather than just enjoying it for what
it is and letting it unfold naturally as it’s meant to.
However mastering this
trick is much easier said than done, as it’s at this early point in the
relationship, also known as the “honeymoon” period where the couple are still
getting to know each other and hence, there is a sense of not fully knowing who
our partner is, therefore existing in a somewhat state of naivety. The story of Eros and Psyche
looks at the implications of this and reveals why we often find it difficult to
just “relax and enjoy” our relationships. Discover how you can find out more
about their story and how it can help your relationships by clicking here.
So,
although the Three of Cups is a positive card, representing emotional
fulfillment and contentment, the lesson it brings is the need to learn to
cherish and enjoy the relationship whilst it lasts as it is in the present
moment, for there will undoubtedly be change as further developments occur and
more is revealed in the relationship. Enjoy this holiday time with your loved
ones, have lots of fun and make it your
mantra this year to celebrate and really enjoy the wonderful relationships you
have manifested.
